Apparat

Apparat’s current contribution to the !K7 DJ-Kicks series has been celebrated worldwide as an outstanding mix-compilation. After his enormously successful collaboration with Modeselektor as Moderat, the compilation marks the end of his club act era.

He will be going on tour for DJ-Kicks in spring and then present his new album at selected festivals, performing with his band. It’s not a club thing; instead it will establish Sascha as a skilled songwriter and singer. The album, which he has been working on for two years now, can be considered the consequential successor of “Walls”. Slow, deep and dark, it’s going to be a 2011/2012 highlight.

Apparat did remixes for Johnny Cash, Ellen Allien, Royskopp, Moby, Raz Ohara, Hakan Lidbo, James Holden, Nathan Fake, Francesco Tristano, Luisine, Meteo/Thiel, Swayzak, Agoria, Boys Noize, Adam Freeland, Ladytron, and T.Raumschmiere.
