Katie Kate

Katie Kate (Katie Finn) is one among Seattle's badasses. She’s a spry, business-wise matron of the crew. With a slinky, flaunting syntax, Katie Kate’s cadent flow undulates. Switchbacks on the metronome drive a laid back hard count that bobs and weaves around her beats. It’s straight up, playful, and sparks off a parade of glitter and gemstone covered heat shields. Heat shields, as in able to both turn away, and contain much heat. Besides being a hip hop producer / MC, Katie Finn is a classically trained composer and musician. Originally from Albany, NY, she's finishing up a degree at Cornish in music with a concentration in Classical Piano studying under Peter Mack. Her senior recital is in March. She's studied piano, gamelan, composition, chamber music, and started out as a classical flute major.
